503 AI_UNAVAILABLE only affects requests with reasoning: true. Requests with reasoning: false run the scoring engine only and are never affected by AI availability.402 INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS is returned before any compute runs - your balance is checked first.429, respect the retry_after value before retrying.
